Integral Coach Factory in Chennai will manufacture electronics component technology for the Hyperloop project, as it already has the expertise to develop large electronic systems for Vande Bharat trainsets.
Further, the Ministry of Railways has provided technical assistance and funding for this project, which uses pods for high-speed transportation inside vacuum tubes and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of over 1,000 km per hour (kmph).
