RPP Infra wins contract for implementation of water supply project in Chennai, Tamil Nadu

RPP Infra Projects Limited has won a contract worth Rs 809.3 million for implementation of water supply project under the Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam (North Chennai Development Scheme) in Tamil Nadu. Bids for the same were invited by the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.

The scope of work includes construction of underground water tanks, water distribution stations, laying feeder mains, replacing PVC water mains, and strengthening water infrastructure across multiple depots in areas IV and V.

The Vada Chennai Valarchi Thittam Scheme aims to upgrade old sewage and water pipelines across North Chennai at an estimated cost of Rs 9,464.2 million.
