Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) handled 36.5 million metric tonnes (mmt) of cargo in February 2025, marking a 3 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. This growth is driven by container cargo (more than 16 per cent YoY) and liquids and gas (more than 12 per cent YoY).
For the April-February period of FY 2024-25, APSEZ recorded a total cargo volume of 408.7 mmt, reflecting a 7 per cent YoY growth. This increase is driven by containers (more than 20 per cent YoY) and liquids and gas (more than 9 per cent YoY).
Additionally, logistics rail volume reached 0.58 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), (more than 8 per cent YoY), while General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme volume stood at 19.9 mmt (more than 11 per cent YoY), highlighting sustained expansion in APSEZ’s logistics and cargo operations.
