NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited has commenced operations for the fourth and final phase of its 300 MW Shambu ki Burj-2 (Kolayat) solar photovoltaic project in Bikaner, Rajasthan.
The final 18.32 MW capacity commenced commercial operations on March 1, 2025. The first three phases of the project, 150 MW, 98.78 MW, and 32.90 MW were commissioned on September 29, 2022, September 30, 2024, and October 31, 2024, respectively.
