National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has commenced land survey works for Gaya-Koderma section under the Varanasi-Patna-Howrah High Speed Rail Corridor Project.
The project involves development of 760 km long high speed rail (HSR) corridor between Varanasi and Howrah via Patna in Uttar Pradesh, Kolkata and Bihar, respectively. The construction work on the project is expected to begin after 2030.
