Reportedly, Torrent Power Limited is set to establish a thermal power plant in Madhya Pradesh with an investment of Rs 180 billion.
The state offers well-developed infrastructure, including reliable electricity, water availability, and transportation facilities, which have been key factors in attracting investments. The proposed thermal power plant will utilise modern technology and is expected to generate over 7,000 direct and indirect jobs.
