The joint venture (JV) of STM Infra and Santosh Construction and Infra Private Limited has won a contract worth Rs 914.88 million for augmentation of piped water supply at Chikhali in Buldhana, Maharashtra under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by the Chikhali Municipal Corporation on September 6, 2024.
The scope of work includes laying of rising main pipelines, construction of jackwell, intake well, elevated service reservoir (ESR), water treatment plant (WTP) having capacity of 5 million litres per day (mld), pumping machinery, distribution system, repairs of existing WTP and ESR, installation of meters, ground service reservoir and supervisory control and data acquisition automation.
