The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has identified land parcels between Mandasa and Vajrapukotturu mandals for the Srikakulam Greenfield Airport project.
Around 1,384 acres of land is required for the project, of which about 300 acres is available in the identified land parcel and the remaining 1,100 acres will be acquired from locals. The report for the same is likely to be submitted to the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) soon.
The project involves the development of a greenfield airport in Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh.
