Eagle Infra India Limited has won a contract worth Rs 6,589.48 million for development of underground sewerage scheme (UGSS) at Zone 3 at Nallasopara in the Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation (VVMC) area under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Bids for the same were invited by the VVMC in January 2024.
The scope of work includes construction of a sewer collection system, sewage pumping station, sewage pumping main, sewage treatment plant having a capacity of 51.5 million litres per day (mld) with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) automation.
