About 525 acres of land have been transferred from Pantnagar University and Terai Development Corporation under the Pantnagar runway expansion project.
The project will involve the expansion of the runway at Pantnagar Airport in Uttarakhand from its existing length of 1,372 metres to 3,000 metres. This development is a part of the government’s plan to upgrade the airport into an international airport.
