Karaikal Port has revised port dues and pilotage charges from October 1, 2024.
In line with the new berthing policy and tariff structure (BPTS), for port dues, the existing tariff of $0.49 per gross tonnage (GT) of vessel [per vessel call number (VCN)] has been revised to $0.084 per GT of vessel (per VCN). Meanwhile, for pilotage charges, the existing tariff of $1.19 per GT, for vessels with GT 10,000 and above, has been revised to $1.59 per GT, for vessels with GT 10,000 and above.
