A modern terminal building was inaugurated at Namo Airport in Daman on June 5, 2026, marking a major infrastructure milestone for the Union Territory. The project is built at a cost of approximately Rs 1.23 billion and provides direct connectivity to Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Additionally, runway expansion is also underway. The new facility is expected to boost tourism, trade and commercial activities in the region.
