The 43 km Gurgaon-Pataudi-Rewari National Highway is expected to be completed by March 2025, with 60 per cent of the work already finished. The Wazirpur-Rewari section is on track for completion by December 2024, while the Dwarka Expressway-Wazirpur stretch will be completed next year.
The project includes the construction of a 180-meter, two-lane unidirectional flyover on the Dwarka Expressway, providing direct connectivity from Delhi and Gurgaon to Rewari via NH-352W. The highway aims to alleviate congestion on the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway and offer an alternative route to industrial hubs in Manesar, Bilaspur, and Dharuhera. However, key sections at Hero Honda Chowk and Umang Bharadwaj Chowk may not be completed by the March deadline. The project, costing Rs 9 billion, was initially set for completion in December 2022.
