The construction of an 88.40 km six-lane greenfield highway between Gwalior and Agra is set to begin in 2024-25. The project is expected to entail an investment of Rs 42.16 billion.
The new highway will significantly reduce travel time between Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) and Agra (Uttar Pradesh) from three hours to just one hour. The detailed project report (DRP) for this Rs 46.12 billion project has been completed, and tenders have been floated.
