As per reports, 84 projects worth Rs 530 billion have been completed under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways’ (MoPSW) comprehensive port connectivity plan. These projects span about 3,400 km of road and rail network.
Meanwhile, 54 projects worth Rs 740 billion are under implementation.
Overall, the comprehensive port connectivity plan has identified 298 road and rail projects, including more than 100 road and rail infrastructure projects.
