MoR sanctions funds for the Harbour line till Borivalli under MUTP-Phase 3A

The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has sanctioned Rs 8.76 billion for the extension of the Harbour line till Borivalli under the Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP) – Phase 3A. The project involves the expansion of existing rail lines, introduction of new rail corridors, procurement of AC locals and arrangements for their parking, station redevelopment and improvement in the signalling system. It is an extension of MUTP-III and includes a number of projects that have already been sanctioned.
