South Central Railway (SCR) has completed the preliminary survey for the Bengaluru-Tumakuru third and fourth rail line project and Bengaluru-Mysuru third and fourth rail line project in Karnataka. The report for the same has been submitted to the Railway Board for approval.
Bengaluru-Tumakuru third and fourth rail line project involves laying a third and fourth line along the existing 70 km long railway line between Bengaluru and Tumakuru in Karnataka.
Bengaluru-Mysuru third and fourth rail line project involves laying a third and fourth line along the existing 137 km long railway line between Bengaluru and Mysuru in Karnataka.
