In a notable development, the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has received approval to extend the aqua line corridor to Greater Noida West. This extension aims to enhance connectivity between Noida, Greater Noida, and Delhi.
The project will add 11 new metro stations to the aqua line, covering a distance of 17.43 km. The project is estimated to cost Rs 29.92 billion. The interchange station at Sector 61 will be pivotal in linking the aqua line with Delhi Metro Rail corporation’s (DMRC) blue line.
