Centre inaugurates Puthuvypeen LPG import terminal

The central government has inaugurated the Puthuvypeen LPG import terminal. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) established facilities for the receipt, storage and despatch of imported LPG at the Puthuvypeen Special Economic Zone in Kochi, Kerala, at an investment of Rs 12.36 billion. The import terminal, with 15,400 million tonnes of storage capacity, will ensure a steady supply of LPG to millions of households and commercial establishments.
