In a recent development, the detailed project report (DPR) for Sarjapura-Hebbala (Corridor III) of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project – Phase III has been completed. The corridor is likely to cost Rs 165.43 billion. 115 acres of land is required for the corridor. Besides, a total of 28 stations are planned under the same. The project involves construction of three corridors viz. corridor I-32.15 km long JP Nagar Phase IV-Kempapura stretch with 22 stations; corridor II-12.5 km long Hosahalli-Kadabgere stretch on Magadi Road with 9 stations; and corridor III-37 km long Sarjapura-Hebbala stretch through Agara, Koramangala and Dairy circle in Karnataka. Corridor I and II are part of Phase IIIA while Corridor III is part of Phase IIIB.
