The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) has launched a new portal, the least available depth information system for providing real-time information on the least available depth (LAD) of waterways. In the initial phase, LAD information on National Waterways (NWs)-1, 2, 3 and the Indo-Bangladesh protocol route will be available on the portal.
