Haryana government approves railway line from Panipat to Asaoti

The Haryana government has approved a 95 km railway line from Panipat to Asaoti via Rohtak, Jhajjar, Farukhnagar, Patli, Manesar and Sohna, bypassing Delhi. This line will be developed by the Haryana Rail Infrastructure Development Corporation and will cater to the transport needs of south Haryana. In the proposed network, the Panipat-Jhajjar, Farukhnagar-Garhi Harsaru and Garhi Harsaru-Patli lines already exist.
