NHAI extends bid submission date for second tranche of TOT projects

NHAI has extended the bid submission date for the second tranche of toll-operate-transfer (TOT) projects from December 5, 2018 to December 19, 2018. It had earlier extended the last date for submission of bids from November 5, 2018 to December 5, 2018. A total of eight stretches spread across Rajasthan, West Bengal, Gujarat and Bihar have been bid out under the second bundle. These span a total length of 586.55 km and NHAI has set an initial estimated concession value of Rs 53.62 billion for these stretches. Meanwhile, NHAI organised a roadshow in Mumbai to invite prospective investors to be a part of the TOT road projects. Earlier, the authority had organised successful roadshows in Delhi, New York and Toronto in August and September 2018 with the same objective.
