The Solar Energy Corporation of India has issued a tender for large-scale solar-wind hybrid power plants with an aggregate capacity of 160 MW to be set up in Andhra Pradesh. The plants (along with an energy storage solution) are planned to be located in Ramagiri district of Andhra Pradesh. The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh will provide the shared infrastructure for the project. Meanwhile, transmission evacuation facilities will be provided by Transmission Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited.
