About 94 per cent excavation work completed on BKC station under Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail in Maharashtra

Approximately 94 per cent of excavation work has been completed on the Banda-Kurla Complex (BKC) station under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor project in Maharashtra.  Foundational works have been completed, including 100 per cent of secant piling (3,384 no.), capping beams extending 2,203 running metres, and flood wall construction covering 2,078 running metres. The project involves the development of the 508.17-km Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor in Maharashtra and Gujarat at an investment of Rs 1,080 billion.
