TrueRE Oriana Power has secured an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) for a 234 MW grid-connected floating solar photovoltaic project at the Maithon dam reservoir in Jharkhand.
The project was awarded through competitive bidding and will be the largest floating solar installation in the state and among the largest in India. It will feature a customised anchoring and mooring system to address river currents, maintain array alignment and ensure structural stability. The contract also includes operations and maintenance for 10 years.
