Phase I of Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) Aero Park was inaugurated on February 9, 2026. Spread across 36 acres, the Aero Park is envisioned as a centre of excellence for aviation maintenance, training and technical services. Projects worth Rs 1.01 billion have been commissioned in the first phase. The move highlights CIAL’s significant step beyond conventional airport operations, positioning itself as an emerging global hub for aviation services.
