The Commissioner for Railway Safety (CRS) has given clearance to the 15.7 km long Murkongselek-Sille section at a permissible speed of 110 kmph for the Murkongselek-Pasighat New Line Project in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh.
The project envisages development of a 26.5 km long rail line between Murkongselek and Pasighat connecting Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.
