NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has commissioned the entire 300 MW capacity of its Barsingsar solar power project located at Barsingsar village in Bikaner district, Rajasthan.
The project has been developed under the central public sector undertaking scheme of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. The first phase of 52.83 MW was commissioned in August 2025 which was followed by 106 MW in the second phase. The commissioning of the balance capacity has now completed one of the largest solar power projects implemented by NLCIL. The Barsingsar solar power project has been developed using domestically manufactured, high-efficiency solar photovoltaic modules supporting indigenous manufacturing and reducing import dependence.
