Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has completed 100 m tunnel excavation work for the Budni-Indore New Railway Line Project in Madhya Pradesh.
The project involves construction of 205.5 km long rail between Budni and Indore, including the longest 8.64 km tunnel and another 1.24-km tunnel in Madhya Pradesh at an estimated cost of Rs 73.93 billion. It will also include 80 major bridges, 99 minor bridges, 138 road under bridges (RUBs), five road over bridges (ROBs), two viaducts, and 18 new railway stations.
