Shakti Pumps (India) Limited has secured a letter of award (LoA) from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Limited for the supply and installation of 16,780 standalone off-grid direct current solar photovoltaic water pumping systems across Karnataka.
The order has been awarded under Component B of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) scheme and covers the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar water pumping systems. The total value of the order stands at Rs 6.54 billion.
