The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has approved funds for the construction of a 47.9 km stretch of the 77.4 km Nashik Ring Road. The road section funded by MoRTH will be a four-lane road with six-lane infrastructure. The plan includes three major bridges, 18 minor bridges, 29 vehicular underpasses and seven viaducts, requiring a total of 305 hectares of land. The entire project is expected to be implemented by Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited. It will commence at VTC Phata near Vilholi village and passing through Igatpuri, Trimbakeshwar taluka, before ending at Adgaon.
