The South Coast Railway (SCoR) has issued the final land acquisition (FLA) notification for acquiring 73 acres of land across five villages in Yerpedu and Renigunta mandals for the Gudur-Renigunta Third Railway Line Project and the Yerpedu-Pudi Railway Bypass Line Project in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
The Gudur-Renigunta Third Rail Line Project covers a 75 km stretch and will increase the line capacity on the high-density corridor. The project covers key sections including Renigunta-Srikalahasti, Srikalahasti-Venkatagiri and Venkatagiri-Gudur.
The Yerpedu-Pudi Bypass Rail Line Project involves development of a special railway project that involves construction of a 25.36-km long bypass line from Yerpedu to Pudi in the state of Andhra Pradesh for passenger and freight facility.
