According to the chief executive officer, Vodafone Idea Limited (Vi), the company has begun the next stage of its 5G network expansion, extending coverage to additional cities while also boosting 4G capacity to meet growing data usage. The operator’s 5G services are now available in 29 cities, with the latest rollout reflecting its ongoing phased deployment approach.
In a communication to subscribers, he also mentioned that the telco is strengthening its digital services ecosystem through strategic partnerships spanning travel, internet of things (IoT), fintech, micro, small and medium sized enterprises (MSME) enablement, and future-ready connectivity solutions. He noted that these efforts are intended to improve customer experience and develop new service capabilities alongside network upgrades.
