The PCMC has raised Rs 2 billion through green municipal bonds

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has raised Rs 2 billion through green municipal bonds. The issue was oversubscribed 5.1 times. The base size of the issue was Rs 1 billion. The proceeds from the issuance will be utilised for the Harit Setu project. The project aims to develop better footpaths, dedicated cycling tracks, and improve first and last-mile connectivity to metro stations.
