Reportedly, the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) are planning to exit their investment in Oriental Infra Trust, a highways infrastructure investment trust (InvIT). In 2019, the trust listed its units on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) raising Rs 23 billion, of which, IFC invested Rs 1.95 billion and AIIB Rs 3.44 billion. Currently, AIIB holds 5.9 per cent stake and IFC holds 3.33 per cent. Currently, the development is in early stages of discussion.
