The government of Uttar Pradesh has approved the Noida Sector 51-Knowledge Park V metro project.
Besides, Rs 3.94 billion will be borne each by the union government and state government. Additionally, the state will allocate 40 per cent of the funds from Noida Authority and the remaining 60 per cent from Greater Noida Authority.
The project involves development of a 17.43 km long metro rail network connecting Noida Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V in Uttar Pradesh.
