Commissioner of Railway Safety conducts safety inspection on Shirvade-Karad-Shenoli rail section in Maharashtra 

The Commissioner of Railway Safety conducted a safety inspection on the 21.56 km long Shirvade-Karad-Shenoli section of the Pune-Miraj-Londa line doubling project. Besides, speed trials were also conducted on the stretch at the speed of 131 kmph.

The project involves doubling of the 467 km long rail line between Pune and Londa via Miraj from Maharashtra to Karnataka.
