Ministry of Power and New and Renewable Energy releases third edition of consumer service ratings of discoms

The MoP and MNRE have released the third edition of consumer service ratings of discoms (CSRDs), covering their performance in 2022-23. As per the ratings, Noida Power Company Limited (Uttar Pradesh), BSES Rajdhani Power Limited (Delhi), BSES Yamuna Power Limited (Delhi) and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Delhi) achieved the highest ranking of A+ among the 62 rated discoms in the country. The ministry also released the Electricity Distribution Network Planning Criteria formulated by the CEA, encompassing different aspects of distribution planning processes at the sub-transmission and distribution level, including the introduction of smart technologies.
