Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has received the letter of intent (LoI) for the acquisition of Halvad Transmission Limited from Power Finance Corporation Consulting Limited (PFCCL).
The Halvad Transmission, a special purpose vehicle, has been set up by PFCCL for evacuating 7 GW of renewable energy from Khavda renewable energy park, under Phase III Part A package. AESL won the project through the tariff-based competitive bidding process and will commission the project in the next 24 months on build, own operate, and maintain basis. The world’s largest renewable energy park, with a generation capacity of 30,000 MW of green energy, is coming up at Khavda, Gujarat.
