The officials from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) have recently announced the imminent start of geotechnical investigations for Phase III of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Project. These investigations are crucial for ensuring the stability and efficiency of the metro infrastructure. Phase III will introduce two new elevated lines. The first line, spanning 32.5 km, will connect J.P. Nagar Phase IV to Kempapura via the western portion of the Outer Ring Road. Meanwhile, the second line, covering a distance of 12.5 km, will run from Hosahalli to Kadabagere along Magadi Road. The geotechnical investigation is valued at approximately Rs 60 million.
