Government extends deadline for mandatory FASTag to February 15, 2021

The MoRTH has extended the deadline for 100 per cent collection of toll charges on the national highway network through FASTag till February 15, 2021. Earlier, the deadline had been set at January 1, 2021. FASTag recorded 138.4 million transactions in December 2020, a 10.83 per cent increase from 124.8 million in November 2020. Similarly, toll collection through FASTag increased to Rs 23.04 billion in December 2020 from Rs 21.02 billion in November 2020.
