The Ministry of Railways has decided to earmark reservation accommodation for female passengers on trains. Accordingly, a reservation quota of six berths in 3 AC class of all Rajdhani, Duronto, fully airconditioned trains (that have 3 AC class) has been earmarked for female passengers. In the case of the Rajdhani, Duronto and fully air-conditioned express trains, the number of berths to be earmarked under this reservation quota is four lower berths per coach as compared to three lower berths per coach in normal mail express trains.
