Foundation stone for Shivamogga airport project laid

The foundation stone for the Rs 2.2 billion Shivamogga airport project has been laid. The project to construct an airport at Sogane in Shivamogga requires about 662.38 acres of land, the acquisition of which has been initiated. The project will be taken up in two phases and will be completed in a year’s time.
