SECI announces results of 1,000 MW RTC thermal mimic auction

The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) has announced the results for its 1,000 MW round-the-clock thermal mimic (RTC-TM) power tender to seven developers. The tender was issued in March 2026. Juniper Green Energy Limited received the highest allocation of 230 MW at Rs 5.26 per unit, while Hexa Climate Solutions Private Limited was awarded 150 MW at the same tariff.

Other winners include Kengeri Prime Solar Power Private Limited (180 MW), Resolven Four Energy Private Limited (150 MW), Hero Solar Energy Private Limited (120 MW), EMIF II Holding V II Coöperatief W.A. (100 MW), and Purvah Green Power Private Limited (70 MW). The companies secured the respective capacities at a tariff of Rs 5.25 per unit. According to the tender guidelines, the scope of work covers the development of the ISTS-connected renewable energy projects with energy storage systems.
