The Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Mega Coaching Terminal at Bhatton ki Gali in Jaipur has been submitted to the Indian Railways (IR) for approval.
It involves development of a Mega Coaching Terminal at the existing Bhatton Ki Gali railway station in the Jahota region of Jaipur at an estimated cost of Rs 10 billion.
The project is being implemented by North Western Railway (NWR). Under the plan, the terminal would feature around 10 platforms along with modern passenger amenities including waiting halls, digital transformation displays, improved sanitation facilities and enhanced security arrangements. The project envisages automated train and station cleaning systems, solar energy-based power systems and developments in green building standards.
