Vande Bharat Express train service has registered cumulative passenger traffic of 39.8 million during the financial year (FY) 2025-26, an increase of 34 per cent over 29.7 million passengers registered during the previous year.
Besides, till March 2026, the Vande Bharat Sleeper train service has registered 121,000 passengers across 119 trips and occupancy rate of over 100 per cent, since its launch in January 2026.
