The Urban Development Department, Maharashtra sanctions funds for Ghughus Comprehensive Water Supply Project

Maharashtra’s Urban Development Department has sanctioned funds worth Rs 940 million for the implementation of the Ghughus Comprehensive Water Supply Project under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. Under the approved structure, the central government and the Maharashtra government will each contribute 45 per cent of the funding while 5 per cent will be contributed by the implementing agency, Ghughus Municipal Council. The works are likely to be completed within 18 months.
