Swan Defence and Heavy Industries (SDHI) has entered into a Rs 42.5 billion agreement with the Gujarat Maritime Board to modernise shipyards and strengthen ship supply chains.
SDHI will also partner with Sagarmala Finance Corporation Limited through a memorandum of understanding to explore a range of maritime projects, including vessel construction, ship repair, and supporting ancillary infrastructure. Feasibility studies will be conducted to define project designs, capacity, vessel types, and to integrate technologies.
