Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) handled 41.9 million metric tonnes (mmt) of cargo in August 2025, a 16 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. This growth was primarily driven by a 29 per cent YoY growth in container volumes.
Logistics rail volumes stood at 57,347 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) in the same month, marking 8 per cent YoY growth, while volumes under the general purpose wagon investment scheme (GPWIS) were recorded at 1.69 mmt, representing a 3 per cent YoY increase.
Overall, APSEZ handled a total of 202.6 mmt of cargo during April-August period of FY 2025-26, reflecting a 11 per cent YoY growth. This growth was also led by a strong 22 per cent YoY increase in container volumes.
